Faculties Details: André Parent, PhD
André Parent is a world authority in neuroanatomy and the Director of the Division of Systems Neurobiology at the CRULRG. Prof. Parent is also a member of the Royal Academy of Sciences of Canada since 1994. He has received numerous distinctions including the 1995 Leo-Pariseau Prize from ACFAS, J.C.B. Grant Career Award from CFBS and most recently the 2002 Wilder Penfield Prize, the highest distinction in Quebec in the biomedical sciences field. Prof. Parent brings expertise on a wide array of neuroanatomic approaches and the opportunity to work on human post-mortem brain tissue. |
